Rising Channels

Vertical channels of color rise and spread across the surface, branching and narrowing as they move upward. Read from a bird’s-eye view, the composition suggests a surface terrain mapped by flow rather than elevation. Ink marker is layered in dense, directional strokes, producing variation in pressure and edge clarity within each passage. White lines separate channels without isolating them, allowing movement to remain continuous. Color holds structure through repetition and controlled expansion across the field.
