Lockball

This composition is built from overlapping rounded forms that interlock across the surface. Shapes press into one another, sharing boundaries and color fields while maintaining distinct edges. Unlike works driven by continuous circulation, the movement here is contained. Forms appear held in place by their neighbors, creating a sense of balance through constraint rather than flow. Color functions structurally, reinforcing separation and cohesion simultaneously. The result is a dense but stable arrangement, where no single element dominates the field.
