Two hands guide red pencils through a field of shifting color, one establishing direction while the other interrupts and redirects. Lines bend, overlap, and press against one another as color behaves like a responsive surface rather than a background. This work captures the Handsy series at a moment of negotiation—where intention meets resistance and the act of drawing becomes a dialogue. Control and release coexist, and the mark is shaped as much by opposition as by motion.
