Cut Field

This work is constructed through layered fields of color disrupted by repeated linear markings. Ink and paint accumulate unevenly across the surface, producing areas of compression, abrasion, and partial exposure. Color functions as material rather than atmosphere, while the scoring marks establish rhythm and interruption. The composition emphasizes stratification and surface contact, allowing the image to read as a built field rather than a depicted space.
