Horizontal bands of saturated color move laterally across the surface, layered and partially occluding one another. Ink marker is applied in short, directional strokes, producing a ribbed texture that holds color in place rather than blending it. The composition is anchored by a broad blue field at the base, against which warmer bands compress and cross. Color relationships are asserted through adjacency and interruption, not gradient or transition. The work reads as a constructed surface, built through accumulation and restraint.
